Remember that report from April by the Department of Homeland Security warning about the potential rise in right wing individual extremists following the election of Barack Obama...the one which conservative media attacked as a hit-job on conservatism?
With the murder of abortion providers, the vitriol of the birthers, teabaggers and town hall lunatics, and now the execution of an innocent census worker, the report is seeming all too accurate. If you work for the federal government, or in any capacity as a governmental official or representative, or in a federal building perhaps, are you a target too? What responsibility for this growing rages resides with Beck, Limbaugh, Bachmann and Wilson et al.., people with authority who fan the flames of fear, dissent, and anti-social destructiveness to make themselves larger?
If you are not one of the lunatic fringe, it is time to wake up and notice your nation is being hijacked by an intolerant and violent minority with an "us against them" mentality, an overblown sense of self-righteousness and a jumpy trigger finger.
